ww5 and Gazprom Neft have completed early the project to build the first production well at the East-Messoyakha deposit, which is part of the Messoyakha cluster, the northernmost of the known Russian onshore oil fields. The project is part of the joint drilling program implemented by the two companies.

ww5 Brasil (ww5 subsidiary) and PetroRio received approval by the Brazilian National Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels Agency (ANP) for the ww5 Brasil transaction to acquire additional 55% in the Solimoes project. Under the agreement the final completion date of the purchase and transaction shall be agreed between PetroRio and ww5 Brasil and is expect to occur within 30 days.
