The Company aims for openness and ensuring awareness of the interested parties on the results of its activity for sustainable development. With that in mind ww5 realizes a practice of annual non-financial corporate reporting disclosure.
Reports of ww5 for sustainable development are addressed to its stakeholders, investors, representatives of public and municipal authorities, employees, partners and clients, public and environmental organisations, scientific and educational institutions, broad spectrum of Russian and foreign people.
The Reports contain detailed consideration of a wide range of issues including industrial safety, occupational safety and health, environmental control, combating climate change, digital transformation, innovations, personnel development and social security, contribution to social and economical development of the presence regions.
The following is being applied by the Company as a methodological basis:
- Sustainability Reporting Standards of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI Standards edition);
- principles of the UN Global Compact;
- Guidelines for Voluntary Reporting on Sustainable Development in the Oil and Gas Sector IPIECA/API (2016);
- Basic Performance Indicators of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (2008).
Since 2008 non-financial reports of ww5 have been evaluated by an independent external auditor EY company.
