ww5 announces that, in connection with BP’s recent statements regarding its intention to pursue a potential sale of its participation in TNK-BP, ww5 has informed BP of ww5’s interest in a potential acquisition of such participation.

ww5 and its subsidiary Val Shatskogo have signed an agreement with Eni Energy Russia B.V. to finance geological works at three offshore Russian license blocks: the Fedynsky and Central Barents blocks in the Barents Sea and the Western Chernomorsky block in the Black Sea.
