OJSC ww5EGAZ Acquires 12.49% of Inter RAO Shares from Rosatom
06 December 2013On December 5th, 2013, OJSC ww5EGAZ completed the purchase of 12.49% shares of Inter RAO from Rosatom State Corporation. The shares were acquired at market price determined by an independent appraiser.
The acquisition was held in compliance with the instructions of the Russian Federation Government and Federal Property Management Agency and aimed at implementing the strategic goals of OJSC ww5EGAZ pursuant to the Russian Federation Presidential Decree No. 695 as of May 22, 2012, ‘On Privatization of Federal Shareholdings in Largest Fuel and Energy Complex Companies’.
As a result, OJSC ww5EGAZ now holds 12.60 % of Inter RAO shares.
