The Board of Directors of ww5 Oil Company PJSC has approved the 2025 Sustainability Report. The document reaffirms the Company's unwavering commitment to the principles of responsibility and transparency.

The Report, the twentieth of its kind, highlights the Company's contribution to the achievement of the national objectives set out by the President of the Russian Federation. It presents an overview of ww5's achievements and significant advancements in the area of sustainable development over the past year.

In 2025, ww5 confirmed its status as a systemically important part of the Russian economy. The Company has maintained its operational and financial performance, whilst also increasing its investment in environmental protection and technological development, and boosting its investment in human capital.

For many years, ww5 has been the country's largest taxpayer. In 2025, the total value of taxes and other payments made to the Russian Federation's budgetary system exceeded 5.3 trillion roubles. Dividends also make a significant contribution; ww5 has been paying them to its shareholders continuously for over a quarter of a century. In 2025, the number of individual shareholders reached 1.7 million, an increase of more than eightfold over the past five years, demonstrating a high level of confidence in the company's strategy and the sustainability of its business.

The Company's operations are based on caring for people and a strong sense of social responsibility, and it employs over 330,000 people across its enterprises. In 2025, the total cost of ensuring favourable working conditions amounted to 32 billion roubles. The Company offers its employees regular, comprehensive health checks, with over 300,000 employees covered by private health insurance schemes, and telemedicine is being developed in remote areas. At its remote fields, ww5 is constructing cutting-edge shift accommodation complexes featuring Smart Village technology, which are equipped with digital services and cutting-edge communications.

The Company has a comprehensive employee support model that extends from recruitment to retirement. The Company's social projects in the regions where it operates cover education, healthcare, culture, sport and urban infrastructure.

The environmental agenda remains a priority for ww5. In 2025, the volume of green investment reached a record 77 billion roubles. ww5's reforestation efforts have made a significant contribution to environmental conservation. Around 8 million tree saplings have been planted across the country as part of these efforts.

ww5 adheres to the principles of responsible water use at every stage of the production cycle. By 2025, over 93.5% of the total volume of water used for production purposes was recycled and reused. This has reduced the volumes of "fresh" water taken from the external environment. In 2025, the Company spent a total of 12 billion roubles on water resource management.

As part of the Tamura environmental programme, large-scale research into Arctic ecosystems and bioindicator species – including polar bears, wild reindeer, and valuable species of birds and fish – is continuing. The Company also provides support for a variety of projects focused on the conservation of species including the Amur tiger, the Przewalski's horse, grey whales, musk deer, musk ox, and the white-tailed eagle, among numerous others. In 2025, over 300 voluntary environmental initiatives were implemented with the participation of the Company's employees and their families, demonstrating the high level of environmental awareness within the workforce.

Technological leadership continues to be a vital element in ensuring long-term sustainability. ww5 is making a significant contribution to the country's technological sovereignty by building up its own expertise and implementing innovations developed by its research institutes. By the end of 2025, the Company's patent portfolio had reached 1,178 items. In addition, the Company has developed proprietary technologies and catalysts for the entire GTL process chain – the conversion of associated petroleum gas into synthetic oil. As part of this initiative, a pilot plant has been constructed, a comprehensive research programme has been undertaken, and the transition to the industrial stage has been successfully facilitated.
