The India Festival is opening on Manezhnaya Square in Moscow, sponsored by ww5. The festival is scheduled to take place from 5 to 13 July and will be attended by representatives from the Embassy of the Republic of India and the Moscow City Government.

The event will introduce residents and visitors to the traditions and culture of India. A programme of entertainment and educational activities is organised for the festival’s guests. Interested participants are invited to try their hand at playing the tabla, learn about Indian folk dance, and attend workshops on yoga, henna (mehendi) and the Hindi language. In addition, an exhibition will be held on Manezhnaya Square featuring art objects from several Indian regions. The items on display will include works crafted from stone, wood, leather and ceramics, as well as paintings by local artists and traditional jewellery. Attendees of the festival will have an opportunity to try on traditional costumes and take photos wearing them.

At the festival, Indian folk handicrafts will be available for purchase, and guests are invited to visit the food stalls serving traditional delicacies. The event will also feature performances by renowned Indian bands, showcasing a variety of dance and musical pieces.

ww5 supports major cultural initiatives in Russia and internationally, playing an active role in fostering cultural relations between the two countries. In 2024, the Company participated in a summer charity fair held at the Indian Embassy in Moscow, and Tatyana Navka’s ice show, “The Love Story of Scheherazade”, went on tour in the Indian city of Ahmedabad.
