The team from Slavneft-Krasnoyarskneftegaz took first place in the League of Young Professionals at the International Engineering Championship CASE-IN. Fourteen teams competed in the final of the championship’s main season, which focused on the application of end-to-end technologies and ESG strategies.

Young oil and gas professionals have proposed their own artificial network solutions, which enable the pre-assessment of field equipment condition and assist in the design of new wells in areas with complex geological structures. The development is based entirely on unaffiliated domestic software, which guarantees technological independence. The digital solution has been patented and has already undergone field trials; the launch of the pilot project at the enterprise fields is scheduled for 2028–2029. The estimated financial benefit of the implementation will amount to more than 280 million roubles a year.

Another enterprise team came third in the final, presenting a project on the efficient use of associated petroleum gas. Engineers have proposed converting transport and field equipment to run on gas using compact Micro-LNG units. This is a domestically developed technology that cools and condenses natural gas at a temperature of negative 162°C. Additionally, it was proposed to refine a portion of this gas into synthetic crude oil for further blending with commercial crude oil and main pipeline delivery.
