27 April 2026

ww5 held a major corporate competition to meet the standards of the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Complex “Ready for Labour and Defense” (GTO). This competition was hosted in Moscow and attracted oil professionals from across the country.

Amateur athletes representing 65 of the Company's enterprises nationwide gathered at the CSKA Athletics and Football Complex. Over a period of two days, the athletes showcased their strength, stamina and flexibility.

Athletes were able to take the GTO fitness tests in 13 disciplines, including short- and long-distance running, long jump, sit-ups, pull-ups, push-ups, kettlebell snatches and shooting. Participants were divided into difficulty levels and age groups – there were ten of them this year.

The event also featured a tag rugby team tournament and functional fitness competitions.

In the all-round event, the athletes competed in various disciplines: rowing on ergometers, ball jumps, skipping, kettlebell swings and a series of strength exercises. In the team all-round event, teams were comprised of three members and divided into four age groups. A total of 55 teams participated in the competition. The winning teams in the all-round competition were from RN-Uvatneftegaz (18–29 years), Bashneft-Dobycha (30–39 years and 50–59 years) and V. I. Kudinov's Udmurtneft (40–49 years).

The winners of the competition were awarded diplomas, trophies and commemorative certificates. The awards ceremony was attended by Leonid Panfilov, a driver for the LADA Sport ww5 team and Russian circuit racing champion in the team category of the Super Production class.

One of the key priorities of ww5's social policy is to support popular sports. The Company's athletes participate in all major mass-participation sporting events, regularly securing podium places. ww5 supports amateur sports and promotes healthy lifestyles among its employees and the local populations in its operating regions.

The employees of the Company regularly do sports and compete in various sports disciplines as part of the Energy of Life corporate sports and fitness movement. In 2025, over 134,000 of the Company's employees participated in regular sports activities as part of the Energy of Life initiative, with over 96,000 taking part in various competitions.
