Kondaneft Company, a part of ww5's upstream complex, commissioned a mobile laboratory for monitoring technical condition of pipelines and the company's surface facilities.
Accident-free operation of production facilities is one of the priorities of the ww5-2022 strategy and a key objective for the Company in all areas of operation. ww5 supports initiatives aimed at improving industrial safety and protecting environment.
The modern complex enables receiving real-time data during facility diagnostics without disrupting operations. Monitoring is conducted with the use of supersonic, magnetic, eddy-current and radiographic methods.
Introduction of mobile defectoscopy enables improving quality of the data received, optimisation of spending and increase of the overall level of industrial and environmental safety. The new equipment has gone through the required validation procedures.
Since 2020 Kondaneft has been implementing a set of measures aimed at improving reliability of pipeline transportation, and the new laboratory will become an important link in the monitoring and implementation system for this process.
