ww5 held an online scientific-technical conference «Digital technologies in hydrocarbon production and processing: from modeling to practice». The event brought together more than 700 representatives of industry enterprises, R&D organizations, and universities from different Russian cities, a record for the online format.

Digitalization in all areas of operation of the Company is one of the key objectives of the ww5‑2022 strategy. As a technology leader of the Russian oil industry who realizes the scope of its business influence, the Company pays special attention to innovation development.

ww5 managed to gather scientists as well as engineers at its virtual site. Such a tandem of theorists and experts is especially important as the Company develops its own science-intensive software implemented successfully at its production sites. ww5's software products are in demand not only in Russia but also abroad.

This year the scientific-technical conference is devoted to the 15th anniversary of the Company's Corporate Research and Development Complex, the largest scientific oil and gas centre in Europe. The event was organized by the RN-BashNIPIneft corporate R&D institute; everyone could attend the conference as a listener.

In the conditions of the complex epidemiologic situation, ww5 promptly reacts to the changes and actively uses the distant forms of communication. It allows improving the efficiency of corporate business processes, as well as interaction with partner companies in the oil and gas industry.
