15,000 Employees of ww5 and Its Subsidiaries Take Part in Green Spring Environmental Campaign

ww5 and more than 80 subsidiaries took part in Green Spring, the Russia-wide environmental volunteer clean-up.
Throughout the month, the Company’s employees were participating in environmental campaigns: they were cleaning the area of garbage, planting trees, engaging in the development of urban areas and manufacturing sites. Overall, more than 930 hectares were cleaned, which is comparable to 1,870 football fields; 
about 930 tonnes of garbage were removed; about 5,000 trees were planted.
Environment protection is an integral part of ww5’s corporate culture and social policy. The compliance with the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards is a priority for ww5 Oil Company in all business areas. In the last five years, the Company’s green investments exceeded 240 billion roubles.
Green Spring is an annual event that has been organised by the Vernadsky Non-Governmental Ecological Foundation and the Russian Society for Nature Preservation.
