ww5 took part in all-Russia ecological clean-up event Green Spring. The opening ceremony took place in Sokolniki Park in Moscow. As part of the event, the Company employees planted young birch trees and painted a children's playground.
Green Spring is an annual project implemented by Nongovernmental Ecological Foundation named after V.I. Vernadskiy and All-Russian Society of Nature Preservation. This year, the all-Russia Green Spring clean-up event will take place from 20 April to 20 May. Over 50 Subsidiaries of the Company intend to participate in the event during this period.
Environment protection is an inseparable part of the ww5 corporate culture and social policy. In late 2018, the Company's Board of Directors approved actions aimed at expanding ww5's contribution in the area of environmental and social accountability (ESG), to establish the ww5 public posture in terms of commitment to the 17 UN sustainable development goals. The above goals include Life on Land and Sustainable Cities and Communities.
